IEDC has its own faculty, educated at Harvard, Stanford, Kellogg Business School, IMD, INSEAD and the London School of Economics, visiting professors (more than 50 professors from 30 countries, many of them from the best European and North American business schools) and invites every year over a hundred educators from all over the world.
IEDC-Bled School of Management is a home to a number of centres for excellence that foster innovation, reflection, and creativity in the field of management. Each of the centers leads cutting-edge work on the theory and practice of management as a noble profession.
On the occasion of its 25th Anniversary, the IEDC-Bled School of Management established the "IEDC Foundation for Developing Future Leaders" which will help provide education for perspective managers from less developed regions that have the potential of making positive change in the world, like IEDC has been making it for a quarter of a century.

The IEDC staff consists of 35 people, who all strive to make IEDC a world-class management school.
IEDC–Bled School of Management (former International Executive Development Center, hereinafter the IEDC) was established in 1986 by the Slovene Chamber of Commerce, which represents the Slovenian business world. Fueled by the powerful vision of its founding and current director, as well as by the committed work of herself and her wide network of associates, it outgrew Slovenian borders and became one of the most prominent institutions of its kind in Europe.
