Thank you for celebrating the 25th anniversary of IEDC-Bled School of Management with us
A quarter of a century has passed since the establishment of the IEDC-Bled School of Management; the then IEDC-Center Brdo, established in February 1986, was the first management school in Central and Eastern Europe.
In 25 years, the IEDC has become one of the most innovative business schools in Europe, attracting managers from all over the world; to date, is was attended by over 55.000 managers from 70 countries.
IEDC has been celebrating its anniversary throughout 2011, while the highlight event "Creating the Future" took place on 14 october at Brdo pri Kranju - thank you for joining us at celebrating this exciting time in the IEDC history.

- Creating the Future (14 October 2011)
This significant international conference (Presidents' Forum) held at Brdo pri Kranju was the highlight event of the jubilee year. Over 450 respected guests from 36 countries, including topmost lecturers (Ichak Adizes, Nancy Adler, Manfred Kets de Vries, Jean- Pierre Lehmann, Edgar Schein, Hermann Simon,…), company presidents, CEOs, board and supervisory board members, representatives of governments, the non-profit sector, media and other organizations, joined the IEDC celebrations on this special day. As part of celebrating its 25th anniversary, IEDC would like to show its appreciation to all past and future participants by awarding 25 scholarships for its longer educational programs starting in 2011 and/or 2012 to prospective managers who have the potential to make a difference in their society and world, like the IEDC has been making it for a quarter of a century. - Global IEDC Alumni Reunion in Bled (14-15 October 2011)
After the celebrations in Brdo pri Kranju, IEDC alumni of all generations from an array of countries came to Bled to meet their peers from around the world and build new friendships and international networks. On Friday, 14 October, they met at Grand Hotel Toplice and enjoyed a music performance by Uroš Perić; on Saturday, 15 October, they had a chance to listen to world-respected Prof. Edgar Schein, who shared his personal views on his career; on the same day, IEDC for the first time awarded AAA awards to five successful alumni. - A Film"25 years of IEDC"
Haris Pasović, one of the leading theatre directors in South Eastern Europe, the artistic leader of the East West Theatre Company in Sarajevo and co-founder of the Directing Department at the Performing Arts Academy, has created a video collage on IEDC, blending together interesting images, participants' testimonials and media quotes on IEDC. Share your memories and photos & receive a digital IEDC Memory Book
IEDC encourages all friends of the School to share the IEDC-related photographs from your albums and to write a few sentences for the jubilee Memory Book; you can send both through the web tools below.
Depending on the inputs, IEDC shall issue a »25 years« Memory Book at the end of the jubilee year, which shall be sent to everybody who contributed either the photos or the text and provided a valid e-mail address.
