Faculty

IEDC has its own faculty, educated at Harvard, Stanford, Kellogg Business School, IMD, INSEAD and the London School of Economics, and more than 50 renowned visiting professors, many of them from the best European and North American business schools and other management development institutions from about 30 countries. The reliance on professors of different nationalities brings a real life appreciation of different cultures and perceptions right into the classroom. Close cooperation with numerous local and international management consultants contributes to successful interlinking and interaction of contemporary management theory and practice.

Kalpič Brane

Brane KalpičBrane Kalpič is a freelance management consultant and an adjunct professor of strategy at IEDC Bled School of Management.

He graduated from mechanical engineering and he holds a PhD in Enterprise Integration. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry where he has held different management positions and in management consulting where he has worked for one of leading global management consulting companies.

His areas of interest and expertise include Strategic Management, Business Model and Organisation Design, Enterprise Integration, Knowledge Management, and Business Change and Transformation.

Brane is an invited lecturer and guest speaker at different conferences, both academia and business. He has published his works in different professional and scientific journals and books. In his work he discusses the issues of integration, transfer, and the application of management and engineering concepts in business practice
