Faculty

IEDC has its own faculty, educated at Harvard, Stanford, Kellogg Business School, IMD, INSEAD and the London School of Economics, and more than 50 renowned visiting professors, many of them from the best European and North American business schools and other management development institutions from about 30 countries. The reliance on professors of different nationalities brings a real life appreciation of different cultures and perceptions right into the classroom. Close cooperation with numerous local and international management consultants contributes to successful interlinking and interaction of contemporary management theory and practice.

Kudar Randy

Randy KudarDr. Randy Kudar is Professor Emeritus at the Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. He received a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Military College, and MBA and PhD from The University of Western Ontario.

His interests include the management and application of quality and productivity to organizations, and their impact for managerial decision-making. He has made presentations on the need and awareness for productivity and quality to private companies, professional organizations, national conferences, and international conferences. He has been involved in the application of quality and productivity for the development of improvement in companies and countries in South America, China, and Africa.

His current interest is in the application of modern physics and biology theories, such as General Systems Theory, Cybernetics, Quantum physics, and Chaos theory to the practice of management and the design of organizations.

Dr. Kudar has taught seminars on management accounting and productivity measurement to management development programs within private firms, government agencies, and parastatals in several countries. He has taught management courses in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Hong Kong, China, and Botswana. He has taught in the MBA and PhD programs at the Darden School, the University of Virginia, and in the MBA program at the Rotterdam School of Management. He was also the Director of the MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business, the University of Western Ontario. For the past several years, he has taught in the EMBA program at the IEDC – Bled School of Management, Slovenia where he was several times chosen for one of the two best Professors of the Year.
