IEDC establishes its 10th alumni club – in Macedonia

IEDC-Bled School of Management has organized a special event in order to mark official establishment of the IEDC Alumni Club Macedonia. A lecture on networking with HE Mr. Erwan Fouéré and Prof. Danica Purg was attended by almost hundred alumni and guests, including representatives of Government and the Sector for European Integration, and managers of fast growing companies. The lecturers agreed that Macedonia is strongly aware of the importance of knowledge for a successful economic development, which has been already resulting in some positive trends.


IEDC-Bled School of Management has organized a lecture "Networking - the Key to Business Success" on the occasion of establishing the IEDC Alumni Club Macedonia, which is already the 10th club in the IEDC alumni network. Almost a hundred guests attended the lecture held by HE Mr. Erwan Fouéré, European Union Special Representative and Head of the European Commission Delegation to the Republic of Macedonia, Prof. Danica Purg, Dean and Director of the IEDC, and another special guest Mr. Gazmend Haxhia, President, A.S.G. Group, Albania, who were pleased to share their rich networking experience with the audience. They stressed the importance of personal engagement, dedication and will, with a clear business dimension of networking. Among the guests there were also HE Mr. Marjan ©iftar, Slovenian Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Svetozar Janevski, the main stake-holder of Tikve¹ Winery, and other representatives of Macedonian business community.

All IEDC MBA alumni from Macedonia attended the event and supported the establishment of the IEDC Alumni Club Macedonia; as their first president they elected Mr. Gligor Gjozev, MBA 2002, Director of Finance Support Center at Macedonian Telecommunications, who shortly presented the vision and future activities of the Macedonian alumni club.

IEDC has more then 100 alumni in Macedonia, almost 50 out of them graduated from longer programs. Together with the newly established club, there are now already IEDC alumni clubs: in Albania, BiH, Croatia, Georgia, Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine.
