The Tom Vollman GMP Scholarship was created on the initiative of IEDC President Prof. Purg and IMD Lausanne’s Prof. William Fischer to honour the late Prof. Tom Vollman who for many years taught Operations Management at IEDC – Bled School of Management and IMD Lausanne. This is one of two Scholarships awarded each year to candidates from Central and Eastern Europe who demonstrate experience and/or extraordinary interest in the field of operations management along with excellence in their professional endeavours.
