On Friday, February 23, the IEDC team participated in the final graduation ceremony of the 8th generation ELP program (Executive Leadership Program), developed by IEDC- Bled School of Management specifically for VIG. 25 participants from 13 countries completed the program.

The event started with the presentation of the 5 project tasks prepared by ELP participants from April 2023, when the program started, to February 2024, when the seminar concluded. Alongside representatives from IEDC Prof. Danica Purg, Dr. Nenad Filipović, Dr. Brane Kalpič, and Tadeja Omovšek, the entire VIG management board attended the event, led by President Hartwig Löger, along with several other guests directly related to this year's project theme, "Principles for Cooperation within the Vienna Insurance Group." All 5 project groups delivered excellent presentations and impressed everyone in attendance. The VIG administration is seriously considering implementing most of the proposals, with one already in progress.

We are delighted that 25 new managers have joined the Alumni of the ELP program, who, after completing the program, will be better equipped to navigate the daily challenges of today's world. In her speech, Prof. Danica Purg evoked the memory of great leaders such as Peter Drucker, Nelson Mandela, and Gandhi, encouraging the graduates to also draw inspiration for their decisions from the realm of art.
