Diversity, Inclusion, & Equity are three themes that have been dominating the HR landscape to one degree or another for the last several years.  In this IEDC webinar, Dr. Peter Gillies will look into what Diversity is and whether or not it “may be instrumental to successful business outcomes”. 

Grand pronouncements have been made about how much Diversity and Diversity Programs add to the ‘bottom line’.  Dr. Gillies will look at the business value-added claims and suggest that Diversity – as we are currently implementing it – may be storing up years of unintended consequences while not leveraging the Diversity that our businesses need.  These consequences are interesting to think about, but even more important is how we can harvest the promise of Diversity while avoiding initiatives that might hinder, rather than promote, successful business outcomes.”
