Dr. Aleksandra Kregar is a professional manager with extensive experience in strategy and marketing. As an architect and artist, she created an exciting career path, which has always been based on integrity, pro-activity, and curiosity. Aleksandra has been in the food industry since 2000 (the company Droga). In 2005 she participated in the merger process (merger of Droga and Kolinska, purchase of Grand Prom and Štark in Serbia). In 2007, she worked intensively with the company Stern & Stewart, which prepared the starting points for the strategic development of Droga Kolinska - a new focus strategy. After the acquisition of Atlantic Grupa in 2010, she held various group functions as a Central Marketing director and later as a Corporate strategy director. Before coming to Droga Kolinska, Aleksandra was a Brand Manager at Renault Slovenia. In the last period, she intensively devoted herself to consulting and focused on an employer branding strategy as a company's competitive advantage in the marketplace. In her experience, the actual benefit happens when a company's mission, strategy and culture are aligned and supported.
Aleksandra holds an MBA and a Master's degree, and in 2021, she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis at the IEDC-Bled School of Management and earned a degree of Doctor in Management. Aleksandra is an Associate Professor and frequently lectures at professional and academic events. She is a member of the Supervisory board of the Slovenian Marketing Association, a member of the dispute committee at the Slovenia Advertising Chamber, and has been part of the juries of Effie ® Slovenia and Slovenian Marketing Conference.
