Aleksander Ferk is the Director of the Tax Department at PwC Slovenia, with 20 years of extensive experience in transfer pricing, international taxation and corporate tax advisory. As an experienced tax expert, he advises domestic and multinational clients on complex tax matters with a strong focus on international taxation, due diligence, M&A, corporate income tax and transfer pricing matters.
He has built his career within PwC Slovenia, progressing through senior professional roles to his current director position. In 2017 he was seconded to PwC Belgium for 11months where he gained vast experience in the area of international taxation and transfer pricing. He works closely with financial, audit, legal and advisory teams to ensure integrated and practical solutions for clients.
Aleksander regularly lectures and publishes articles on tax and transfer pricing topics. He is a coauthor of professional articles in the journals Denar in Kapital, SIR*IUS, Davčno-finančna praksa and Finance newspapers, and a frequent speaker at conferences organised by the Slovenian Institute of Auditors. He also participates in university programmes and professional clinics, presenting practical aspects of international taxation, transparency, and the distinction between lawful tax planning and tax evasion.
In addition to client work, he is actively involved in dialogue with the business community and public authorities, including participation in discussions organised by AmCham Slovenia and meetings with representatives of the Slovenian tax administration (FURS). In this role, he regularly contributes to discussions on improving the tax environment and competitiveness of Slovenia for foreign investors.
