Conference on “China and its Impact on the World Economy: Asian Brand Strategy – A New Paradigm” took place at IEDC
The idea for this conference came about from the close cooperation between the IEDC-Bled School of Management and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Bled Strategic Forum and Thinkers50 Europe.

Bled, May 27 2019: Representatives of the government, business and diplomacy attended a special conference “China and its Impact on the World Economy: Asian Brand Strategy – A New Paradigm”.

The two keynote speakers Christina Boutrup and Martin Roll, on the list Thinkers50, a global ranking of the leading management ideas of our time delved into the topic of China’s impact on the world economy, and particularly with focus on Asian Brand Strategy. Ms. Christina Boutrup has closely followed the global expansion of Chinese companies and provided her deep insights on the Chinese tech revolution, while Mr. Martin Roll, Business and Brand Strategist guided the audience through a fast-paced development of rising Asian brands.

The closing remarks were provided by a guest of honor Mr. Bjarke Wolmar, Vice President of Thinkers50 Europe.

Conference provided an excellent platform for leaders and executives from all over Europe and beyond, to meet and discuss the most current topics that preoccupy both business, academic and political circles.
