Bled, June 7 2019: The conference was opened by the welcome speeches of Mr. Aleš Kranjc Kušlan, Director of Insti - tute Ekvilib and Prof. Danica Purg. Conference was organized as a set of dialogues with guests who in their own way as an individual or corporation contribute to a socially responsible world.
Among the speakers were Matej Feguš, Director of Doner, who introduced a 6-hour working time in his company, Natasha Lazareski, Expert in Organisational Health, Wellbeing and Psychosocial Risk Management, Prof. Roberto Biloslavo from Faculty of Management, Sonja Klopčič, Co-creator of Collaborative Leadership in Conscious Organizations, Uroš Ačko from SID bank, Irena Čuk from NLB.
Some very young activists shared their success stories, concerns and plans for the future. Rok Rozman who is a former Slovenian Olympic rower, biologist and pro kayaker organized the Balkan Rivers Tour and has the aim to raise awareness about ‘the dam craze’ in the Balkans. Representatives of Mladi za podnebno pravičnost, Živa Lopatič from fair-trade shop 3Muhe and Jan Bizjak from Bled shared their concerns about the future of the ecological and sustainable issues of the world.
