Bled (Slovenia), 10 February 2017: IEDC welcomes 40 alumni from different programs, generations and 8 countries at the fifth alumni refreshment course titled “Challening Issues in Leadership” prepared and led by Professor Drikus Kriek. Prof Hendrik Sebastiaan (Drikus) Kriek is Vice Dean for Pedagogy and Executive Director of the PhD programme at IEDC-Bled School of Management.
"Leadership can be seen as 'seeing, being and doing' and this refreshment course looks at challenges leaders face in using these elements to improve their leadership. The class allows for reflection on leaders' own practice including dealing with change, paradox and what to do when leadership goes bad", stressed Prof. Kriek.
IEDC alumni refreshment courses are responding to many wishes and requests for special lectures for alumni to upgrade their knowledge and skills and also to use the opportunity to re-live that great feeling of working in a classroom - debating the case and questioning each other’s ideas. IEDC started with them in 2016, on our 30th Anniversary.
