IEDC celebrates the achievements of its MBA, PhD and DBA Graduates

IEDC – Bled School of Management proudly celebrated the achievements of its graduates at the IEDC Graduation Day Ceremony.

At the ceremony, 30 MBA graduates from 8 countries, two PhD graduates and the first-ever DBA graduate in IEDC’s history received their diplomas.

Graduation Day was marked by inspiring speeches and heartfelt moments, reflecting the journeys our graduates have undertaken and the strong sense of community that defines IEDC. It was a moment to look back with pride and forward with confidence to the impact our graduates will make as responsible leaders in their organizations and societies.

The Graduation Address was delivered by Dr. Iztok Seljak, IEDC MBA and PhD alumnus, whose reflections offered both inspiration and a powerful reminder of the values and leadership responsibility that connect generations of IEDC alumni.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the awarding of the title “Educator of the Year” to Prof. Jim Ellert, who received this recognition for an extraordinary 24th time, a remarkable testament to his lasting contribution to executive education and to IEDC’s academic community.

To our graduates: we are immensely proud of what you have achieved. Your commitment, resilience, and intellectual curiosity exemplify the spirit of IEDC. This milestone marks not only the completion of your studies, but the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, responsibility, and lifelong learning.

We are also delighted to welcome you into the IEDC Alumni community, a global network of over 6,000 alumni from 75 countries. We encourage you to stay connected, support one another, and remember that IEDC and Bled will always be a place you can return to.
