Prof., Dr.oe.c Tatjana Volkova is a Professor of Strategic Management and Innovation Management at BA School of Business and Finance in Riga and a member of Higher Education Council of Latvia. Tatjana Volkova is a Latvia’s Professors Association Board member and Head of Joint Professor’s Council established by BA School of Business and Finance and Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA). Prof. Volkova is an Expert in Management at the Latvian Council for Science and member of the Promotion committee of the doctoral program implemented by BA School of Business and Finance jointly with Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA). Tatjana is also a member of Editorial Committee of Scientific Journals in Latvia and internationally. As a professor she delivered lectures in India, Kazakhstan, Greece, Georgia, Norway, Switzerland, and Luxembourg among others, as well was involed in evaluation and accreditation work of Universities globally. Tatiana has conducted many research projects, as well as actively involved doctoral students and young scientists in various research projects, which led to the development of new scientific articles and publications, articles and books. Her research findings have been published in a number of peer reviewed books and journals and presented at numerous international conferences.
Tatjana Volkova graduated University of Latvia and holding Doctoral degree in Economics from University of Latvia. Prof. Tatjana Volkova has extensive practical experience in management and consultancy, including working as Manager of Rotterdam Consult, Ltd, HR recruiting professional at Amrop International office in Riga, working as Training Officer at WOCCU office in Riga. She is a former President of Rector’s Conference of Latvia (2004 – 2011), a former Member of European University Association Council (EUA), Brussels (2004-2011) and a former Rector of BA School of Business and Finance (2004 – 2011) (Latvia), a former Board member of Baltic Management Development Association, a former Steering Committee Member of Institutional Evaluation Program (IEP) of European University Association (EUA) (Belgium).
