New Faculty Positions

  

 

 

The IEDC-Bled School of Management is seeking to fill the following faculty positions:

1. Coca-Cola Chair for Strategic Marketing (see separate announcement on IEDC website)

2. Associate or Full Professor in General Management and Leadership

3. Assistant Professor of Technology and Innovative Management

4. Assistant Professor of Finance, Accounting and Control

The applicants should have the following profile:

  • demonstrated excellence in design and management of executive education programs, and in executive teaching;
  • demonstrated record in program development, teaching material development, and case writing;
  • demonstrated capabilities in practice-oriented research and a strong publication record with respect to original contributions to practice as well as academic excellence;
  • since teaching is exclusively conducted in English, a fluent command of this language is required.

New faculty members at IEDC join our existing world-class team of some 80 permanent and visiting professors who have the following responsibilities:

  • executive education at executive MBA and other upper management levels
  • program design and management
  • research, publication, and teaching material development
  • institution and relationship building

IEDC-Bled School of Management is considered to be the most innovative international business school in CEE, with excellent ties to the business community in the Region. It is a privately funded state accredited management school with state-of-the-art facilities at the Lake of Bled, the tourist pearl of Slovenia. The appointments will initially be for two years. Since IEDC is now actively building a permanent faculty, our hope and expectation is that they can later become career appointments.
