Last Friday, February 26, IEDC welcomed its graduates from different programs and generations at the second alumni upgrade course titled “Making Decisions” prepared by Dr.Nenad Filipović, the Academic Director, and a professor of Strategy of many years.

As it was pointed out during the lecture, our decision making competence should be the cornerstone of our managerial performance. Yet, all too often we do not understand why we have made a certain decision or we do not understand how we should think about a certain decision or we do not understand whether we should be thinking about that particular decision.

Throughout his lecture Dr.Filipović gave an opportunity to participants to reflect on their own experience through evaluating different videos and TED talks, as well as through debating with fellow alumni in smaller groups and in the whole classroom.

A light reception was an excellent conclusion of the day to catch up with old friends and get to know other alumni.

There are still two more highly anticipated alumni courses ahead: by Prof. Joe Pons (registration closed, but please contact alumni office for a waiting list) and of Prof.Randy Kudar. The school is also looking into opportunities of organizing more of these courses in the future and making those a tradition offer to all our alumni of longer programs.
