IEDC-Bled School of Management is pleased to announce that Goran Horvat has successfully defended his doctoral dissertation and earned the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Management.

The title of his dissertation is: “The impact of restructuring strategies on the pre-bankruptcy success of firms in the Republic of Croatia”.

The dissertation was conducted under the mentorship of Prof. Nenad Filipović, with the Defence Committee consisting of the following distinguished members:

• Prof. Mikolaj Pindelski as Evaluator
• Prof. Andrej Bertoncelj as Evaluator
• Prof. Jean Chen as Evaluator
• Prof. Drikus Kriek as a Chair of Defence Committee
• Prof. Mislav Ante Omazić as a President
• Prof. Nenad Filipović as a Mentor

The defence took place on Monday, November 3, 2025, in a hybrid format, both at the IEDC campus in Bled and online.
