Lucija Sajevec

AMZS (Slovenian Automobile Association), Slovenia

Ms. Sajevec has more than 15 years of work experience in different companies. Since 2010 she has been working in AMZS, the largest provider of roadside assistance in Slovenia, holding positions of Head of AMZS Safe driving centre, Head of Marketing and finally taking on the responsibility of the CEO in December 2014.Moreover, Ms. Sajevec serves on various boards such as the Advisory Board of the ARC Europe, the Supervisory Board of Pokojninska družba A, the Transport Association Board of the Chamber of commerce and industry of Slovenia and the board of the Managers’ Association of Slovenia.

Ms. Sajevec jas received a number of awards for her achievements including an Artimida award in 2016 and an Award of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia for outstanding economic and entrepreneurial achievements in 2019. Moreover, Ms. Sajevec was named the Young Manager 2019 by the the Managers’ Association of Slovenia. Lucija Sajevec holds an undergraduate and a Master of Science degrees from the Department of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Moreover, Ms. Sajevec has enhanced her skills and knowledge by completing two programs of the FIA University: New Emerging Leaders Programme by the ESADE Business School, Barcelona and the Senior Executive Programme of the Columbia University, New York. She has further improved her business acumen by completing the Standard knowledge for supervisors program of the Slovenian Directors’ Association and an ACTP Coach program. Among Ms. Sajevec competences are the ability to connect departments with the goal of optimising business processes, good communication and negotiation skills, the ability to adapt to different situations through targeted and development-oriented measures to address various business challenges.Her openness and prudence, empathy and team spirit and the ability to look at things from different angles helps her be a good manager and a leader.
