Marko Bombač, CFA, FRM, began his first mandate as President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on 1 September 2024. 

He began his professional career 19 years ago as a financial analyst at Factor Bank, where he gained valuable insights into banking operations and financial analysis. He later joined NLB Skladi, where he spent more than a decade in various key roles. During his tenure, he notably served as Head of Research for more than 5 years. 

In 2020, he was appointed Director of Risk Management at the Bank of Slovenia. His expertise and leadership have also been recognized through his active participation in numerous committees and working groups within the Eurosystem and related international financial systems.

Marko Bombač holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of professional excellence in finance.
