With over 15 years of leadership experience in private equity, investment management, and corporate finance, Miran Kovač has built a distinguished career across Central and Southeastern Europe. He is currently Partner and Managing Director at ALFI PE, where he manages the ALFI PE Fund and ALFI PE Growth Fund. In this role, he defines strategic direction, sources and executes investment opportunities, and leads due diligence, mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts. He also oversees value creation plans, portfolio monitoring, and fundraising initiatives, while actively serving on the Investment Committee. Previously, he held senior executive positions at Bisnode D&B Southern Markets, where he served as CFO and later as CEO, leading operations across five Western Balkan countries. During this time, he executed six acquisitions and integrations, implemented ERP systems, and spearheaded restructuring, cost optimization, and operational excellence programs. Earlier in his career, he worked at Poteza Group, an investment company, where he gained extensive M&A and portfolio management experience, including the €10m sale of Interenergo to Austria’s Kelag Group and the merger of three leading brokerage firms into Alta Group. He currently also serves as a Supervisory Board Member of KB Prvo Penzijsko društvo a.d. in Skopje, North Macedonia. His expertise spans private equity, M&A, restructuring, finance, corporate governance, and building high-performance organizations.
