Rok Vodnik

Director, Kolektor Technologies d.o.o.
Rok Vodnik began his professional journey with a degree in electrical engineering, which he later upgraded with a Master's degree in management and organization from the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. Over the course of his career, he has held several senior positions in prominent Slovenian companies, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership. At Kolektor, he played a key role in expanding operations to the United States, successfully developing the American market and overseeing the establishment of production facilities there. He later became a member of the Management Board of Kolektor Group, where he was responsible for sales, procurement, and logistics. Following his success at Kolektor, Vodnik joined the Executive Management Board of Petrol, Slovenia’s largest energy company. He initially led the energy division, and later took on responsibility for energy trading and sales, contributing to the company's strategic positioning in the regional energy market. Today, he serves as an advisor to the Director of FMR, a company within the Kolektor Group, where he manages key strategic projects. In addition to his corporate work, Rok Vodnik has been deeply involved in advancing sustainable energy. Since 2014, he has been the President of the Management Board of CER (Center for Energy Efficient Solutions), and since 2016, a member of the Energy Council within the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU).
