Sabina Sobočan is the CEO of Varis Lendava, a family-owned company that has become one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of prefabricated bathrooms. Under her leadership, the company has produced more than 100,000 bathroom units, with 95% of its revenue generated from exports—primarily to Germany. 

Holding a Master’s degree in Economics, Sobočan joined the family business in 2013 after gaining experience in other companies and initially pursuing a career in auditing. In 2015, she successfully took over the company’s management, transforming its leadership from a centralized model to a modern, empowering and collaborative approach. She has professionalized both internal and external communications, with a focus on open, respectful dialogue and long-term growth — of people, teams, and the broader environment.

She is a driving force behind sustainable solutions, including the development of eco-friendly "green concrete," and is a committed advocate for gender equality in leadership and society. Through public speaking, thought leadership, and participation in international events, she actively contributes to meaningful economic and social discussions.

Beyond Varis, she is a dedicated member of several business organizations, including the SBC – Slovenian Business Club, the Managers’ Association of Slovenia and the Chamber of Commerce for Construction.
