Bled, 22 October 2025 – In the spirit of Pink October, the international month of breast cancer awareness, IEDC–Bled School of Management and Europa Donna Slovenia officially launched a new and long-term initiative to support women after cancer treatment: “Močnejša (Beyond Recovery)”.
The project, part of Europa Donna’s Return to Work program, is designed to help women after breast or gynaecological cancer rebuild confidence, regain personal and professional balance, and reconnect with their potential. It provides a space for learning, encouragement, and new beginnings – a community where women can rediscover strength and purpose after a demanding life experience.
The launch event at IEDC brought together Dr. Tanja Španić, Executive Director of Europa Donna Slovenia, Prof. Danica Purg, Dean of IEDC and the first President of Europa Donna Slovenia, Nina Remškar, Chief Strategic Partnerships & Projects, representatives of Europa Donna, IEDC faculty and staff, and MBA participants, all united in support of this meaningful collaboration.
To mark the occasion, IEDC symbolically turned its iconic yellow logo pink, illuminated the school in pink light, and offered guests pink-themed desserts, a gesture symbolizing solidarity, strength, and new beginnings.
The Beyond Recovery (Močnejša) initiative is envisioned as a long-term program and forms an integral part of IEDC’s social responsibility commitment. Through this collaboration, IEDC will offer women after cancer free participation in selected leadership and personal development programs and will invite partner organizations to join the initiative – together building a lasting network of support that helps women confidently return to work, life, and the future ahead.
