Bled (Slovenia) 13. 9. 2017: Five companies from five countries have competed at the IEDC Global Case Study Competition. Dr. Nenad Filipović, Professor of General Management at IEDC-Bled School of Management - the oldest management school in Central and Eastern Europe, which has been connecting thousands of remarkable leaders all over the world for more than three decades, presided the jury and announced that the winning team is the one from UPC Romania.

Living up to the mission of enhancing business reasoning, strengthening team work, bringing young business people to competently face real-world issues, IEDC-Bled School of Management in Slovenia has established a tradition of organizing international case study competitions. Each year a series of national case study competitions are organized jointly by IEDC and its Alumni clubs in countries across Central and Eastern Europe. The best team from each country is rewarded with a 1-day course and qualifies for the international competition held each year at IEDC, in Slovenia.

Apart from getting an invaluable personal experience, the UPC Romania won a two day seminar, valued at 20.000€, by IEDC-Bled School of Management tailored to specific needs of their company.

This competition is just one of many initiatives of IEDC Alumni Network which  operates locally via 15 IEDC Alumni Clubs, which are designed to offer a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and share intellectual, social, and career opportunities.
