Bled, June 2023: This week, IEDC hosted two visits of groups of students from American Universities, one from the University of Kansas and one from Clarkson University. Both Universities have brought students to Slovenia as part of the field trips with the aim to introduce them to the Slovenian economy and its hidden treasures.
This was already the 8th group of students from Kansas University visiting IEDC. University of Kansas ranks among the best quality higher education institutions in the USA, and students come from elite study programs in economics (Business Leadership Program) and engineering (SELF Fellows Program).
Clarkson University from Potsdam, NY, USA brought its students to Slovenia as part of a Global Business Program study trip in Croatia and Slovenia. IEDC is also connected to Clarkson University through a Professor, Gašper Sekelj who is an IEDC PhD candidate.
Both groups were welcomed by the Dean of IEDC, Prof. Drikus Kriek who presented the school's vision, mission, and history of the school and its involvement in the management development in the region.
