New Joint Master Program in China

Master Program in Innovation, Enterpreneurship and Leadership

We are very proud to announce that IEDC-Bled School of Management, Postgraduate Studies is part of Silk Road Consortium, led by School of Management, Zhejiang University, which has started offering Master Program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership.

For thousands of years, the Silk Road Spirit - "peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit" - has been passed from generation to generation, promoted the progress of human civilization, and contributed greatly to the prosperity and development of the countries along the Silk Road.

In the spirit of creating better and more connected world through open collaboration, five higher education institutions from countries along the Silk Road:

  • School of Management, Zhejiang University (China),
  • Almaty Management University (Kazakhstan),
  • IEDC-Bled School of Management, Postgraduate Studies (Slovenia),
  • Kozminski University (Poland),
  • RISEBA University (Latvia)

have devoted themselves to prepare and provide a NEW Master of Science Program (M.Sc.) in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership (PIEGL).

Curriculum

PIEGL is a 2-year (4 semesters) full-time program, fully taught in English. The program is designed for recent business graduates from international prominent universities, with the aim of nurturing future professional and business leaders who can work in global or multicultural contexts.

PIEGL places great emphasis on global leadership development by integrating the essence of innovation management and entrepreneurship. Through the two years, students will study, live and work with students from all over the world. They will immerse themselves into a cultural experience far beyond pure academic studies. A mixture of case studies, lectures, action learning projects, company visits and cultural events ensure a rigorous and complete learning experience.

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor degree and above from prominent universities around the world.
  • English Language: TOEFL or IELTS test report. (Not required for applicants whose mother tongue or official language is English.)

Fees and scholarship

School of Management, Zhejiang University plans to enroll about 30 students, all granted with a full scholarship, CNY 129,000. The scholarship includes: 

  • tuition fee, fee for internship, and fee for basic learning materials,
  • free accommodation on campus (Single-room on the International (Haining) Campus, Zhejiang University), living allowance: CNY 1,700 per month (22 months),
  • international student medical insurance.

Degree

Students will be awarded a Master degree in Management from Zhejiang University, China, which is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Mainland China. The school, which has achieved the triple-crown accreditations from AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, as well as the Chinese Advanced Management Education, is particularly renowned for innovation and entrepreneurship. The school is also first Chinese member of CEEMAN International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies, which has its Headquarters at IEDC-Bled School of Management, Postgraduate Studies.
