The 2010 SEE Management Forum Bled – Kopaonik
September 16 and 17, 2010
at IEDC – Bled School of Management, Bled, Slovenia
Organized in co-operation with Serbian Association of Economists, and under the patronage of Mr. Mitja Gaspari, Minister for Development and EU Affaires, Government of Republica of Slovenia.

The mission of the Forum is to bring together business, government and non-government leaders from South-Eastern Europe to search for answers regarding the possible economic futures and leadership challenges facing the region.
The 2010 SEE Management Forum will deal with the new challenges as seen from the vantage point of business and political leaders, and will address key questions such as:
- What strategy should the SEE region pursue in the current economic situation? Would small makeovers do, or do we need more substantial changes?
- Are the existing development models still adequate? Do we have to revise and alter them?
- What is or should be the role of policy makers in beating the crisis? What about banks?
- Do we have the management capabilities in our institutions and organizations to achieve step-by-step change in innovation and value creation?
- How can we exit the crisis in a sustainable way?
- Where will the sources of growth of our companies come from?
- How can we unleash the hidden productive and creative energies of people in organizations?
- Is the current corporate model adequate for the 21st century? What are the alternatives?
The discussions will be led by leaders from business, academia and politics. Among the speakers are:
- Prof. Dr. Hermann Simon, one of the leading management thinkers in Europe, Germany
- Dr. Erhard Busek, Chairman of the Institute for the Danube Region and CE, Austria
- Dr. Luca Gatti, a futurist and strategy consultant, Italy
- Mr. Mladjan Dinkić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Government of Serbia
- Mr. Mitja Gaspari, Minister for Development and EU Affairs, Government of Slovenia
- Mr. Gregor Golobič, Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology, Government of Slovenia;
