Bled, Slovenia, October 21, 2022: IEDC – Bled School of Management hosted a 1-week long EMBA Learning Expedition entitled: A View on Dynamically Changing Societies: Hidden Champions. 22 EMBA participants spent time at IEDC learning about Hidden champions - highly innovative, differentiated and specialized small to medium size companies holding lead market positions in narrow market segments internationally. They successfully ride on a wave of global competitiveness and even in times of economic turndown demonstrate the capacity to grow. The EMBAs had a chance to attend the lectures by Prof. Danica Purg, IEDC President and originator of the research on Hidden Champions in CEE, Denis Berberović, Lead Researcher and Prof. Hermann Simon, initiator of Hidden Champions reserach.
The participants also got a chance to visit the Hidden Champions in Slovenia – Cosylab and Polycom Škofja Loka, Austria - Hirsch and in Croatia - DOK-ing.
