On 22 - 23 September 2015 IEDC-Bled School of Management was hosting the forth Global Case Study Competition: winners of national level competitions from 5 countries were competing for the ultimate prize. This year Bulstrad Life VIG (Bulgaria), Končar (Croatia), Atlantic Grupa (Macedonia), Deloitte (Romania) and Danfoss Trata (Slovenia) faced tough questions when presenting their solutions to the jury of Prof. Danny Szpiro, Melanie Seier Larsen, Principal of the Boston Consulting Group and Slavko Žibret, Jr., Assistant General Manager of Fenolit.
The Case Study Competition is a highly interactive 2-day contest. In a limited time, cross-functional teams from different companies show their best talent, creativity, teamwork and endurance while analyzing and solving a real business case. The Global Case Study Competition is the final event that gathers the winners from the national levels.
“It feels great to win, we are even a bit shocked we did. We had a lot fun. Until the final presentation, we worked as a group, as a team, and only for the presentation part preparation we split responsibilities who does what”, said Končar team members. The winning team was awarded with a 2-day customized seminar for their company designed and implemented by IEDC. Moreover, all participants of the Global Case Study Competition are participating in the ‘MBA elective course’ on September 24-26.
