Salman Mufti

Smith School of Business, Queen's University, Canada

Salman Mufti is Associate Dean and Executive Director of Queen’s Executive Education, Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Canada.

He is also Associate Professor at Smith School of Business and Visiting Associate Professor at The Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. His teaching and research specializes in the areas of strategic management, managerial decision-making, technology strategy, and business model innovation.

He has extensive teaching experience in both degree and non-degree executive education at Smith School of Business in Canada, and with other national and international schools such as University of Alberta School of Business in Canada, Cornell University Johnson School of Management in the United States, Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Pakistan, IEDC-Bled School of Management in Slovenia, and SKOLKOVO-Moscow School of Management in Russia.

He is the recipient of several Executive MBA and MBA Teaching Excellence Awards. He regularly advises senior managers in corporations and the government, and is a sought after speaker on corporate conferences and executive education programs. He has a BSc from McMaster University, an MBA from Queen's University and a PhD from McGill University.
